The Donald (commonly known as r/The_Donald) is an online forum that operates mainly on,[1] and, in a restricted state, secondarily on it's subreddit r/The_Donald due to recent actions taken by Reddit against it. It is a conservative forum that describes itself as a "never-ending rally dedicated to the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump."

On June 25th, 2019, The Donald's subreddit r/The_Donald was quarantined by Reddit, with the provided reason: "It is restricted due to significant issues with reporting and addressing violations of the Reddit Content Policy. Most recently the violations have included threats of violence against police and public officials."[2][3]

On February 25th, 2020, Reddit removed 18 moderators from The Donald's subreddit r/The_Donald that it alleged were not acting in good faith, and were "approving, stickying, and generally supporting content . . . that breaks our content policy."[4][5] In another unprecedented move, Reddit created and stickied a thread on r/The_Donald for moderator applications to replace the moderators it had removed, which it said would be vetted by itself and then referred to r/The_Donald's moderators.[6] Due to r/The_Donald's sudden loss of moderators, it's remaining moderators placed the subreddit in a restricted state, where only approved users are able to submit posts as of February 26, 2020.[7]
